It looks like Johnny Depp may soon join the upcoming film adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express, as the actor is reportedly in talks to star alongside director Kenneth Branagh.

According to Deadline, Depp is currently in negotiations with Fox for a role that has yet to be revealed. After recently appearing in a handful of box office flops, Depp was tagged last year as Hollywood’s most overpaid actor. Earlier this month, Depp joined the cast of the thriller Labyrinth, where he’ll star as Detective Russell Poole, the man who investigated the murders of Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls.
