I can’t say I’m thrilled that Legends of Tomorrow has been moved to Tuesday nights. Mainly because reviewing two of these shows a night can be a strain, but also because I prefer a more steady, controlled dose of new Arrow-verse content. However, the new schedule does sort of highlight the contrast between The Flash and Legends. Coming on the heels of such a dark, grim installment of Flash, it’s nice having Legends’ particular brand of lighthearted adventure to cleanse the palate.

Even with the end of Season 2 fast approaching, “Land of the Lost” kept things pretty light and breezy this week. On one hand, the show made another, longer trip back in time to the Cretaceous Period for a bit of “superheroes vs. dinosaurs” tomfoolery. On the other, Sara and Jax journeyed into Rip’s mind to help him overcome his brainwashing and restore the captain of the good ship Waverider.
