To be fair, it was going to be very difficult to follow last week’s episode. While this episode was not perfect – we will get into the dumb moments in a bit – it still pushed the story forward and built a bit of mystery as the show enters its final stretch.
We can now add Jadalla’s name to the relatively short list of big bads that end up in Interrogation room 1. While he did not say much, he seemed… different. Rebecca didn’t know Jadalla was actually being cooperative, but it hinted at the fact that his conviction may be waning. An hour ago he had Carter tied up and was pontificating about how his mission was God’s will, and now he barely says a thing. I was waiting for Jadalla to acknowledge the fact that he could be wrong. He genuinely thought his mission was righteous; and the only way to be proven wrong would be to fail, which he did.
